JZ House – Bernardes Jacobsen Architecture

Another good project by Bernardes Jacobsen Architecture

This residence built almost entirely of wood on the paradise beach of Camaçari, in Bahia. More than a beach house, the owners’ goal was to have a place of integration with the beautiful local countryside, with total comfort and a peculiar charm.
Bernardes Jacobsen and conceived the project with concrete foundation and worked the rest of the wooden structure. This house of approximately 1800 m² in Camaçari, BA, divided into two blocks that come with a slightly sloping ground. Integration with the landscape of sun, sea and palm trees gave up the sliding glass doors that allow the horizon to bring indoors.
The section rooms supported on stilts with the closure lattice that favors lateral ventilation. In times of sustainable buildings, this project became a reference, because the architects prioritized regional materials such as palm liner screen. A project awarded righteousness.
